The power of fasting and prayer
Family members and many friends are praying for myself and my family. Some are also fasting today, not just for us, both also for others in our ward who have already been dealing with similar health issues for months and years. Our names have been added to the prayer rolls in the temple and even on the prayer lists of other churches. We are so grateful for, and are in humble awe of, the many, many messages of love and support. It is has been incredible. We are very appreciative. I am scheduled to receive a priesthood blessing this evening. This sabbath day promises to be a special one full of the Spirit of God and of good friends.

I remember when our ward had a special fast for my dad after his accident and he spontaneously took the sacrament by himself at the hospital after being unable to reach his hand to his mouth or even come close. Amazing.
It really does make a difference.
You will see.
