Even though I work in computer support, I'm not as much of a geek as you might think. In fact, my PCs run on old, obsolete hardware that I buy from work which they would otherwise sell by the pound to computer junk dealers. I am seldom one of the first to get the latest electronic gadget. This time may be an exception. This
smartphone was announced less than 5 months ago, so its not quite obsolete, yet.

Jealous! I'm itching for a new phone these days, but my old works just fine. It's hard to justify a new one.
Weeks of research has confirmed what I read about combination phone/PDAs. Either they are strong on the phone features and less strong on the PDA features or visa versa. The Tilt's strength is as a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and less so as a cell phone. Its not intended for those who insist on one button dialing while trying to make one handed phone calls and text messaging with one hand and holding a cup of Starbucks in the other all while driving.
Guess its not the phone for me! Ill still rock anyone on the texting!! Ha ha
