Hello. (tap, tap, tap) Is this thing on?

I was assigned to speak in sacrament meeting last Sunday. When I greeted the bishop upon arrival, he asked if I was there to deliver "The Word". I jokingly responded that if I strayed too far from the truth, he could always turn off the microphone. So, halfway through my talk, the lights flickered and the mic turned off. I turned around and asked the bishop if he was trying to tell me something. He acted all innocent and denied having done anything. Fortunately, the mic turned back on several seconds later and I was able to finish my talk. Maybe the big man upstairs didn't like what I was saying. :O
