Todd Richard Hess

My cousin Todd Richard Hess died on June 26, 2008 at the relatively young age of 47 from a sudden stroke and related injuries. His unexpected death was a shock to his large family and many friends. I was grateful to be able to attend his funeral last Wednesday. The service was inspiring and well attended, with all rows of the chapel, overflow, and cultural hall filled to capacity. I have resolved to try to be more like him. He was universally praised as an exceptionally hard worker, a loving and devoted father, and as a kind, thoughtful, well-liked person. He is the first of the grandchildren of Newell and Alta Hess to end his mortal sojourn. He will be missed by all who knew him.
