For several months now, those of us who are "blessed" to live in the 714 are code are now required to dial "1", plus the "714" area code, plus the full 7 digit phone number (a total of 11 digits) just to dial phone numbers WITHIN OUR OWN AREA CODE! This is a hassle every time you pick up the phone to dial a number. :(

That is the PLUS of living here in Nebraska. Nebraska only as 2 area codes. Makes it easy when we call to see when the snow plows are coming to remove the 3 feet of snow in our street.
